And this growth won’t come at the expense of Louisiana families. SpaceX will cover the power generation and infrastructure upgrades needed for the project without impacting existing ratepayers, while incentives are tied directly to the company’s investment and job commitments.

Building Louisiana’s Future While Protecting Its Coast
SpaceX has worked with Louisiana wildlife and coastal agencies to address potential impacts and identify opportunities that go beyond required mitigation. The project is expected to support additional investment in coastal restoration, including opportunities to improve hydrology, restore habitat and address shoreline erosion.
